Color Theory

Most of us know which is blue, which is red and which is black…Yet, we have known all this only because someone pointed out to us, the cloudless sky and said “Hey …that is blue!” For all we know, that could have been a ‘white’ lie. ;)

When you were young and were told that the sky is blue, could you actually have been seeing what could be defined as red?

Perhaps the man who discovered blue was actually viewing a shade of red, but named it blue because it was ‘bluish’ in color! Therefore, could someone’s blue be someone else’s red? And could someone’s red be someone else’s black?! Muddled? Let me break it down…just because you were taught that the color of the sky is blue, you could in fact be seeing red or orange, yet calling it blue. Don’t you think so? Sleep on it. It will hit you one day. Trust me! I know you are ‘green’ with envy at how jobless I am to have come up with all this.
