In retrospect..an introspection

In retrospect, I recollect

The train of my actions through the day…

What have I done that ought to be?

Where have I gone that my feet took me?

What have I learnt

from the little that I have seen and heard?

What have I spoken, that did not hurt?

What are the good deeds

that I could have done…which yet remain undone?

What have I done that I regret?

On whose face did I bring a smile or wipe a tear?

what did I do that wiped my smile?

Introspecting…I find these queries

Are but the road to morality!

When night and morning meet,

this day is after all going be an unalterable memory

With so much to cherish and so much to leave behind!

Self-knowledge leads me to God!
